When I started my business in 2007, the proposition was that I would help business owners develop profitable marketing and business strategies. This was something that I had done previously in the corporate world with a high degree of success. As they say, no battle plan survives the first moment of contact.
When the Great Recession started in 2008, I quickly realized that I had to make myself more valuable to my business clients. So I reached farther back into my business experience to the days that I was a copywriter, sales promotion specialist, website developer and marketing manager. So in addition to developing plans and strategies, I started helping clients with a full range of implementation.
As I became more established in business, I started to find that clients were turning to me for coaching — helping them develop greater knowledge and skills to run their businesses, as well as providing an outside perspective. Much of this was drawn from my experience at GE in business process management and business improvement projects, along with knowledge I gained while earning my master’s in Organizational Dynamics at the University of Pennsylvania.
Today, I work with this model of business coaching, business consulting and business implementation as the core of what I do. When clients work with me, we don’t have to cut off our relationship as business needs evolve. I am also blessed to have a tremendous team of specialists at Biz Allies that we can bring in to work with us as needed.
Like many entrepreneurs, my business today is not what I set out for it to be, but I am happy and blessed to be where I am today. Along with my wife and business partner, Amy, I am ready to help you. Just give us a call to schedule a no-cost, friendly conversation about what you do, what we do, and how we may be able to work together.
